Alberta is Canada’s leading petrochemical producer, home to two the world’s largest ethane-based processing plants, and a significant proportion of Canada's refining capacity. The Value Added Development branch works with stakeholders to identify their concerns and to assist in securing and expanding feedstock supplies so that the industry can continue to grow. This branch works with Alberta Finance to promote and advocate sustainable energy resource development opportunities in the petrochemical and refining sectors for Alberta.
