Research and Technology

The Government of Alberta supports the innovative, responsible and sustainable development of our province’s energy resources through a variety of technology funds and initiatives.

The Alberta Government contracted Jacobs Consultancy late in 2011 to produce a report that provides new information on the life cycle assessment of the greenhouse gases associated with crude oils used in the European Union.
