Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Committee (MAC II) Update Report
The MAC II has released the second of its annual progress update reports on recommendations made to the Alberta government to help ensure the safe and responsible development of coalbed methane in the province.
Updates
A multi-stakeholder group, the MAC II was formed in September 2006 in response to a Final Report recommendation for annual reviews for three years to assess progress on the recommendations. MAC II stakeholder membership is identical to the MAC although individual stakeholders may differ. The MAC II will continue to meet to review and report on the progress in addressing the MAC Final Report recommendations.
