Land Titles Office

The Land Titles Office is part of the Registries & Consumer Services Division of Alberta Government Services. There are two offices in Alberta, one in Edmonton and one in Calgary. Land titles searches are available across Alberta through Alberta Registry Agents.

Farmers’ Advocate

Under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Development, the Farmers' Advocate and assistants are available for public information meetings on subjects such as surface rights, seismic activity, mineral leasing, trespass and other topics that may be of concern to the agricultural community. Freehold Owners Association

The Freehold Owners Association is a non-profit organization operating in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The purpose of the association is to ensure a “level playing field between freeholders and the oil and gas companies that lease their oil and gas interests.”
